What is Prostate Massage?
Prostate Massage is where the Prostate Gland is stimulated by Massage or pressure, either internally or externally, usually resulting in an orgasm and ejaculation that releases seminal fluid, clearing the Gland of built up toxins and pressure. Prostate Massage can be done by fingers or specially designed equipment called Massagers or vibrators. Though it should be noted to go carefully with any electronic device if you are not used to using one, there is a risk of over massaging and causing harm to the Gland and/or surrounding tissue. Prostate Massage done incorrectly can cause damage to the Prostate Gland, which in turn, may affect re-productivity.
Prostate Massage – What and Where?
Step One in learning about Prostate Massage, you need to know where to find the Prostate! The Prostate Gland is a small walnut sized Gland situated between the bladder and the base of the penis. It can be located about two inches inside the rectum, roughly between the rectum and the penis. The Prostate Gland or the P Spot as it is sometimes known, is part of the male reproductive system. The urethra runs through the centre of the Prostate, from the bladder to the end of the penis. The main function of the Prostate Gland is to produce and deliver fluid, which makes up about 70% of ejaculate volume, the other 30% being sperm. In reproductive terms, this fluid has two benefits, it not only helps to take the sperm up through the vagina, it also reduces the vaginal acidity so that the sperm can survive its journey towards the cervix.
Step Two in learning about Prostate Massage in knowing where it is and how to find it!! The Prostate Gland can be found internally, about two inches into the rectum, through the anus. The actual Gland itself feels like a flesh blob of tissue, much like the G Spot in a woman, it sits on the front wall of the rectal lining and feels different to the surrounding tissue. Or if exploring externally, it can be found through the perineum or the piece of skin between the scrotum and anus. It is located more towards the softer, more flexible piece of skin, towards the anus. A clear sign that you have found the spot will be the feeling that you need to pee. The more turned on a man is, the more the Prostate will swell and therefore be more easily found, making the Prostate Massage easier!
How a Prostate Gland can Affect Your Health and how Prostate Massage may be able to help.
Although it can be said that there is little scientific evidence to prove that Prostate Massage can have therapeutic benefits, there is a lot of anecdotal evidence to say that Prostate Massage can provide more benefit than harm.
As a male enters his 60’s and 70’s, the Prostate Gland can start to swell, in some cases growing from the size of a walnut to the size of a plum or larger. This swelling constricts the urethra and the subsequent flow of urine during urination, that can lead to symptoms of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia or BPH. Common symptoms of this condition include frequent urination, particularly at night; difficulty starting urination often followed by a weak urine stream, finished with dribbling at the end of the urination and an inability to completely empty the bladder.
It is believed by some that Prostate Massage can relieve the symptoms of BPH because the purpose of the Massage is to stimulate ejaculation, thus decreasing the amount of stored seminal fluid, therefore relieving the pressure of the enlarged Prostate on the urethra, which leads to easier urination. The added bonus of having a Prostate Massage is that because the Prostate Gland is a highly sensitive part of the body, massaging the Gland through either the rectum or through the perineum (the thin piece of skin that runs from the scrotum to the anus) can create mind blowing orgasms. Thus, creating the best benefits of Prostate Massage.
In short, Prostate Massage can be used for either sexual stimulation to achieve orgasm or for medical reasons such as relief from BPH symptoms.
BPH can lead to serious health issues such as Prostate and bladder infections; bladder stones, decrease in kidney function, incontinence and sexual dysfunction. BPH is diagnosed by your local GP through the means of a rectal exam. If you are experiencing any of the BPH symptoms, please see your doctor. If your doctor advises Prostate Massage as therapy, it should be done only by your doctor.
Prostate Massage and Orgasms
Prostate Massage used for sexual pleasure can be done on your own or with a partner. Used for sexual pleasure, the Prostate Massage can create intense, powerful whole body orgasms. It is important to note that it is not known if all males can experience Prostate or P Spot orgasms and not all men ejaculate during a Prostate orgasm, but instead have a milky fluid that leaks from the urethra. This is known as “milk”. The art of milking the Prostate refers to massaging the Prostate until milky white fluid is released. The correct term for the milk is prostatic fluid, which is basically the ejaculatory fluid minus the sperm. During a Prostate Massage, if you notice the leaking of the milk, take heart – you’re doing something right!
Does Prostate Massage hurt?
If Prostate Massage is done correctly, there should be no actual pain, rather a feeling of discomfort at the beginning stages of anal penetration. If you are unused to any kind of anal penetration, go slow and warm those muscles with lubrication and play.
What are the Risks of Prostate Massage?
Prostate Massage should never be done on a male who has prostatitis (Prostate infection), bladder infection or Prostate cancer. Prostate massaging, if done incorrectly can cause things like bleeding and damage to the rectal lining, pain to the anus, increased hemorrhoid swelling, skin infections and spread of pre-existing Prostate cancer.
Prostate Massage for Sexual Pleasure
Prostate Massage for sexual pleasure can be a confronting thought for both men and women. The whole “back door” area has historically been a no go area for “normal” men. However, with the redefining of the sexually taboo over the past twenty years or so, men are becoming more confident in exploring how pleasurable this area can be. I do a lot of workshops and individual sessions, teaching men and woman how to give a safe and pleasurable Prostate Massage, I help to break down the walls of shame and the stigma of abnormality that some men may experience. I have a lot of experience with assisting men to relax and learn to enjoy the experience as those in my workshops and sessions can testify.
