When you head to your nearest Bottlo to pick up some drinks for your night out, do you buy a couple of beers, a 6 pack or a slab?
If you get a 6 - pack, your set for the night. If you get a slab, your wont need to do a second trip when you run out.
But one American brewery has taken the "slab" to a whole new level by introducing the Pabst Blue Ribbon 99-can pack.
This beast of a slab holds three types of beers - Original, Easy and Extra, and retails for around US $175 (AUD $260)
The massive packs were originally sold in Canada in 2017 and quickly sold out, now they're being sold in some US states.
But if 99 cans is still not enough for your next fishing trip...
Scandinavian brewery Keisari thought it would be a good idea to release a 1,000-pack of beer.
Keisari introduced the 1,000-pack as a joke at its rival's expense. Opposing company, Karjala, brought out 100-packs so, obviously, Keisari had to one-up the competition.
It costs beer drinkers around £1,820, that's $3,496.94 AUD, but who can put a price on happiness?
GrubStreet reports that to hit 1,000, the brewery had to package five stacks of rows that are 12 beers wide by 18 beers long. This gives you a total of 1,080 cans.
The company said if it didn't manage to sell the 1,000-packs it would break them open and sell them in easier-to-manage chunks.
