We might have to wait longer for it, but judging by this, the Top Gun sequel is going to be EPIC
The wait for the most eagerly awaited aviation movie in decades just got a little longer. The global COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak has disrupted the fabric of daily life, with millions of people sheltering indoors in an attempt to slow the disease’s spread.
In response to the pandemic, Paramount Pictures pushed back the release of the eagerly
awaited sequel to 1986’s Top Gun from June 24 to some time in December.
Actor Tom Cruise, who plays legendary hot dog pilot Pete “Maverick” Mitchell, took to Twitter to break the bad news. The actor did not announce a release date in December, but CNN reports the film will roll in theatres on December 23.
